OVERVIEW

Once students complete ScholarMatch’s Destined for College program, they are invited to apply to our Scholars Program, a college persistence program offering academic advising, career mentoring, and financial support from one of our scholarship partners.

Participants in our Scholars Program have access to the following resources:

Personalized College Advising
Scholars are matched with a college advisor, a ScholarMatch staff member who supports them with all things college, including picking classes, accessing campus resources, paying tuition bills, and finding community on and off campus.

Career Mentoring
As scholars reach their second year, they start receiving support from a volunteer career coach to create resumes, find internships, and build professional networks. Scholars also attend workshops and different professional development events, where they can network and build community.

Financial Support
The Scholars Program provides flexible annual scholarships that can be used to pay for school-related expenses such as tuition, fees, books, supplies, and more.
