Just a few days ago, the White House unveiled the College Scorecard; a college search website including never before released national data on college cost, graduation, debt, and post-college earnings. We are excited to announce that ScholarMatch was recognized by the White House because our college search tool, the ScholarMatcher, is using this new data and distills it into useful information for our students.

The College Scorecard initiative makes available an abundance of important college data, and the ScholarMatcher analyzes this data and scores each school on how well they support low-income students. The 296 schools which scored the best — a list that we like to call our Honor Roll — are featured in the online platform, allowing students to build their college list from these excellent institutions. The ScholarMatcher, along with this new data, will help under-resourced students find and apply to colleges that will best serve them and start thinking outside the “undermatching” box.
