As a first generation college student that graduated from California State University, Dominguez Hills with my bachelors in Liberal Studies and currently in grad school at Azusa Pacific University, I am deeply passionate about youth development and student success. I bring over a decade of experience in academic support, program coordination, program design, curriculum development and community engagement. My career began at the Boys and Girls Club of Pasadena, where I served as the Teen Director for six years and developed a love for mentoring teens. Driven to support students in their academic and college journeys, I went on to join UC Riverside as the Regional Manager for the Early Academic Outreach Program, supporting high school students navigate the college application process and explore their post-secondary options. After four years at UC Riverside, I transitioned to California State University, Los Angeles, as the Academic Coaching Manager, where I designed a virtual peer mentorship program that connected incoming freshmen with junior and senior mentors which increased their first-year retention rate. Most recently, I served as a Program Manager at Reach Out, overseeing the Wellness Centers across nine high schools in the Chaffey Joint Union High School District. Now, I’m thrilled to return to my greatest passion—supporting students as they plan their futures. I’m so excited to be part of the team!
