Join our vibrant community of support!
When you give to ScholarMatch, you’re connecting under-resourced students with the tools, support, and community they need to get to and through college. Thanks to your generous support, a ScholarMatch student will be seven times more likely to graduate from college than similarly-situated peers. Give today to make a student’s college dreams come true!
In a world with so many worthy causes, we know it can be hard to evaluate where your contributions will have the most impact. ScholarMatch is committed to being an informative, trustworthy, and transparent partner to donors like you. We stand by the Donor Bill of Rights and have earned GuideStar’s Silver Seal of Transparency.
In addition to a good old fashioned check mailed to our Valencia street location, ScholarMatch accepts gifts from donor-advised funds, gifts in-kind (typically to support our special-event fundraising) and gifts of appreciated stock. Please contact us for stock transfer instructions. ScholarMatch is a nonprofit educational organization (EIN 45-4985621) so your gift will be tax-deductible to the extent of the law.
Sponsor a Student
Sponsor a ScholarMatch college student and follow his or her journey to graduation through update letters each year. Simply indicate with your gift that you wish to support scholarships. While the full cost of support services and scholarship funding is $7,500 per student per year of college, your support at any level is welcome. And if it’s possible for you, a multi-year commitment is highly encouraged.
You can leave a legacy for the next generation by including ScholarMatch in your will or by making ScholarMatch a beneficiary of your life insurance policy or retirement plan. If you’d like to explore what a planned gift could look like, please reach out to us for a conversation. Or, if you’ve already included ScholarMatch in your estate plans, do let us know. We’d love to have the chance to say thank you!
