Partnering with Genentech to foster a more diverse workforce

We’re thrilled to announce that ScholarMatch is partnering with Genentech through the Health Equity and Diversity in STEM Innovation Fund to create and launch an impactful strategy to support transfer students majoring in STEM fields.

Announcing ScholarMatch’s new Virtual Drop-In Program!

As we enter another program year, we’re excited to announce that we’re launching a new Virtual Drop-In pilot program this fall to accommodate high school seniors’ busy schedules. Through this virtual program, college-bound students will receive individualized college advising based on specific needs that might not require a yearlong relationship with a college coach.

Navigating changes in college admissions

In the wake of the Supreme Court’s recent ruling on affirmative action and how this decision will affect college admissions for years to come, ScholarMatch is redoubling its efforts to ensure first-generation college students from low-income backgrounds continue to receive the support needed to get to and through college. Volunteer College Coach (Virtual)

ScholarMatch is in need of college coaches to mentor high school seniors through the college application process. Our coaches play an important role in helping students build their college list, craft their college essays, apply for financial aid, and more.

Volunteer Career Coach (Virtual)

ScholarMatch is recruiting virtual career coaches to help our college scholars prepare to launch their careers. Career coaches can choose to mentor a college student for a seven-month period or provide one-off career guidance and advice to students as needed.
