The new and improved ScholarMatch.org

This April marks the second year of ScholarMatch, and we couldn’t think of a better way to celebrate than by improving our website! Most of the changes are behind the scenes, so we can’t show them off. But, rest assured that we’ve made extensive improvements to the process of matching donors with scholars.

However, we do have a few new visible features we’re excited to tell you about. We’ve built pages so you can learn more about who are students are and our services and impact. Now, by searching for terms such as “high school senior” or “college sophomore,” you’re able to see students in a specific class. Finally – and most importantly – we improved our donation gateway so everything is much cleaner and easier to understand. We hope you like the changes – be sure to take a look around and let us know what you think!

This is the “beta test” version of ScholarMatch

Welcome to the “beta test” version of ScholarMatch. We’ve been working on the site for many months now, and it’s ready and functional — but we’re still taking it slow.

You’ll notice that there are only a handful of Bay Area high schools represented here. That’s intentional. We decided that while the site was being tested, we would first start with the students and high schools that we’ve worked with in the past. If you’re from a school not yet served by ScholarMatch, please be patient. In the next weeks and months, we hope to add more schools, and to make ScholarMatch available to more and more Bay Area students. And depending on the success of the site, we hope to someday scale the site to make college possible for students all over the country. Stay tuned.
